Sebastian County Sheriff's Office to include the ADC, JDC and Bailiff's sections seeks Tutors, to help others understand and learn various academic subjects. They must be patient and understanding, as well as be able to assist, evaluate, motivate, develop and integrate their students in learning.  A tutor's main job responsibility is to assist students academically in whichever subject(s) the students are seeking improvement. This may be difficult at first because not everyone learns the same way, so before a tutor can assist, he should get to know his students a little.  At least one hour a week is required but more is welcome and encouraged.  Confidential information is sometimes shared with the tutors therefore the tutor should have the utmost discretion. Also, maintaining the security and well-being of the county is critical.  Performs other duties as assigned.
